Candidate Filing

Dates: 12/10/2024 to 12/31/2024

Location: Garden City City Hall from 8:00 am to 16:30 pm

Candidate filing for the April 8, 2025 General Municipal Election opens on Tuesday, December 10th at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. City Hall is open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. City Hall will be closed Tuesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 25th. City Hall will be open until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31st.

20th Annual Garden City Community Tree Lighting

Dates: 12/14/2024

Location: Garden City Community Building from 14:30 pm to 22:00 pm

The 20th Annual Garden City Community Tree Lighting. Activities start at 2 p.m. Tree lighting is at 6:30 p.m.

Garden City Light Up Christmas Parade

Dates: 12/14/2024

Location: Ballpark from 15:00 pm to 18:00 pm

The Garden City Light Up Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 14th. Line up starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Ballpark with the parade starting at 6:30 p.m. There is no entry fee. Donations of Personal Care Products, ect. will be collected along the route with all donations going to Sherwood School.

Show Me Mo BBQ

Dates: 12/14/2024

Location: Ballpark from 15:00 pm to 18:00 pm

Show Me Mo BBQ will be selling BBQ plates with all proceeds going to Sherwood's Lunch Fund.
